This short (less than 4 minutes) video will teach you how to setup a Twitter card from start to finish.
Rather than writing a 2,000 word blog post I decided to record how to do it on my screen. Many people are better visual learners anyways.
Also, digital media is the direction content creation is heading.

Here are some additional notes on things I mentioned in the video but did not go into detail on:
- Setting Up A Twitter Ads Account [:28]
Before you are able to create a Twitter card you will need to setup your Business Account on Twitter. You will use the same login as your existing account, but this just gives you the ability to run ads on Twitter if you so choose. That's obviously what Twitter is wanting you to do.
Let me be clear though, you don't need to spend any money to run a Twitter card. You will need to put down a credit card but that is just to have on file.
- The 4 Types Of Twitter Cards [:47]
Lead Generation (example in video): Are you looking to grow your email list? This the card you're looking for then. It allows the user to opt-in directly on Twitter without ever having to enter their email address. It's a great way to gain new leads.
Website: You want to drive traffic directly to a website. For example, if you're running a sales page for an ebook and want to get more people visiting the site you should use this card.
Basic App: You want to drive traffic directly to an app. The link will take the user directly to the app store to download.
Image App: The same as the basic app but you are able to upload an image creative when creating the card.
